Exploration is an important element of Ghazanfar Mining’s activities. We have begun actively exploring several potential mining sites in Afghanistan. We are working to identify new areas of potential sources as well as identifying realistic estimates of current fields and mines. We are transforming the exploration portfolio to focus on mineral and hydrocarbon future development in the north of Afghanistan. Our development and planning team is comprised of experienced geotechnical engineers, structural geologist, civil engineers and environmental geologists.

Production

Our extraction and production operations have been designed to for multiple mining environments. Our team has experience working on coal, iron, gold and hydrocarbon extraction projects.We are in the process of commissioning a mid- sized refinery for petroleum products like gasoline, diesel and Mazut. These much needed energy products will provide Afghanistan the energy to heat their homes, fuel their vehicles and power their lives. In addition to our petroleum refinery, we also have several industrial projects in the works. Our currently testing facilities include a fuels laboratory and a cement testing laboratory. Future testing facilities are planned to include a crude oil testing laboratory.
